Many resident concerns about traffic safety in the community are concentrated in residential areas and are related to speeding, short-cutting, pedestrian safety and traffic around schools during pick-up and drop-off times.
Based on a combination of resident concerns, proposed changes in an area (e.g., a new school) and traffic data, a neighbourhood traffic review may be initiated. Reviews are complex processes that require input from several groups.
