Pause in County mailouts starting May 12

Due to a potential service disruption, Strathcona County is pausing all Canada Post mailouts starting May 12 to avoid any mail getting stuck in the system.

  • All property tax notices will be mailed out prior to May 12.
  • Utility bills will not be mailed to residents until further information about the service disruption is confirmed. NOTE: Payments are still required during a pause or disruption in mail delivery.
  • Sign up for MyAccounts to view and pay Strathcona County utility bills and property taxes online.

This pause is recommended by Canada Post as a service disruption could occur without notice after their current union agreement ends on May 22.

Visit the Canada Post website for the latest updates on the potential service disruption.
