The Lifeguard will have these responsibilities:
- provide the highest standard of lifeguarding at all times
- react to emergency situations and perform first aid and/or emergency aid as required
- deal with the public courteously
- clean the pool deck and change rooms
- assist with maintaining and controlling the operations of the facility and respond to mechanical and operational emergencies
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- National Lifeguard Service
- Bronze Medallion
- Bronze Cross
- Senior Resuscitation
- Aquatic Emergency Care or Standard First Aid
- CPR Level C
The hourly wage range is $21.31 to $26.64, working part-time hours. Evening and weekend availability is a requirement and daytime availability is an asset. Lifeguards will be expected to attend mandatory training sessions.
Applications for competition #LG-RPC will be accepted on an on-going basis. Positions will be filled as suitable candidates are found.
