Lifeguard (part-time)

The Lifeguard will have these responsibilities:

  • provide the highest standard of lifeguarding at all times
  • react to emergency situations and perform first aid and/or emergency aid as required
  • deal with the public courteously
  • clean the pool deck and change rooms
  • assist with maintaining and controlling the operations of the facility and respond to mechanical and operational emergencies

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • National Lifeguard Service
  • Bronze Medallion
  • Bronze Cross
  • Senior Resuscitation
  • Aquatic Emergency Care or Standard First Aid
  • CPR Level C

The hourly wage range is $21.31 to $26.64, working part-time hours. Evening and weekend availability is a requirement and daytime availability is an asset. Lifeguards will be expected to attend mandatory training sessions.

Applications for competition #LG-RPC will be accepted on an on-going basis. Positions will be filled as suitable candidates are found.
