Ardrossan Recreation Complex

Just minutes away in rural Strathcona County, the Wellness Centre and Track is located on the second floor of the Ardrossan Recreation Complex.

The Wellness Centre features:

• A full line of cardiovascular equipment which includes treadmills, powermills, ellipticals, bikes, and more
• A wide variety of selectorized weight machines and free weights for a full body workout 
• Stretching and body weight areas 
• Outdoor fitness patio for functional workouts (open during warm and dry weather periods only)  
• Drop-in group fitness classes including cycle, Zumba, yoga and more

Enjoy support and free orientations from our knowledgeable and experienced wellness staff. 

Check out our Fit for the Future orientation program for 10-13 year olds looking to use the wellness centre.

The Track features:

A three-lane track that measures 170 meters long (5.9 laps = 1 km). The track is designed to provide an indoor opportunity for everyone and is fully wheelchair accessible. 

Children under 8-years-old must be actively supervised by an adult at all times (parents must be walking/running with their child). 

The Ardrossan Recreation Complex has two ice sheets (MacMillan Team Arena and Rusty McLean Memorial Arena).

Note: activity time slots are currently required for shinny hockey and stick and skate at Ardrossan Recreation Complex. Book your time slot and learn more about skating times and locations.

Curling rink

Ardrossan Recreation Complex features a curling rink with four sheets of ice, a viewing area and a licensed food service lounge.

Edutainment Centre
Hours of Operation: Open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily

Children aged 10 years and younger will have an amazing time in the Edu-tainment Centre at Ardrossan Recreation Complex. 

Note: Children under six must be accompanied by a responsible person 14 years or older at all times in the Edu-tainment Centre.

At Love to Play, we celebrate the power of play to ignite imaginations, foster creativity and nurture lifelong learning.

Introducing the ultimate hangout spot at Ardrossan Recreation Complex: the Youth Lounge! Embark on a journey of fun and excitement with an array of amenities at your fingertips:

Fun Factory is a drop-in child-minding service for parents involved in activities located at Ardrossan Recreation Complex and Millennium Place. We provide a safe and caring environment for your children while you have some leisure time to participate in a healthy lifestyle. We will entertain your little ones with colouring, toys, playdough, puzzles and books!
