The Bylaw Enforcement Order Review Committee reviews Orders issued under Strathcona County Bylaws and the Municipal Government Act , but not Orders issued pursuant to Part 17 of the Municipal Government Act or the Strathcona County Land Use Bylaw.  The Bylaw Enforcement Order Review Committee is comprised of citizen members.  More information about the Bylaw Enforcement Order Review Committee can be found here.

Filing a request for review

To file a request for review with the Bylaw Enforcement Order Review Committee your completed Request for Review form (1.0 MB) and the filing fee must both be received by the Bylaw and Enforcement Order Review Committee no later than the final date for requesting a review as specified in the Municipal Government Act and applicable Strathcona County Bylaw.  The Request for Review form includes instructions for filing the Request for Review and paying the filing fee.

After a request for review is filed

Once a request for review is filed with the Bylaw Enforcement Order Review Committee it will be scheduled for a hearing within 30 days.  At least 7 days' notice of the hearing will be given to those persons specified in Strathcona County Bylaw 45-2021 (110.7 KB) .  

Review decisions

In accordance with Strathcona County Bylaw  45-2021 (110.7 KB) , the Bylaw Enforcement Order Review Committee will give its decision in writing within 7 days after concluding the hearing.
