Intersection change at Chippewa Road and Kaska Road to improve safety and traffic flow

Drivers on Chippewa Road should be prepared to stop at the Kaska Road (east) intersection, as of July 5.

The intersection is changing to a three-way stop to improve traffic flow and safety at the intersection.

Construction on Baseline Road and Broadmoor Boulevard intersection starts June 21

From June 21 to August 4, drivers can expect intermittent major delays at the intersection of Baseline Road and Broadmoor Boulevard.

Agriculture and nature themed spray park and playground opens June 15 in Ardrossan

Residents are invited to join the grand opening celebration for the ArrKann Spray Park and Playground in the Ardrossan Regional Park. This brand new park is located at 80-1 Avenue in Ardrossan, just behind the Ardrossan Recreation Complex.

In a spirit of co-creation with the community, Strathcona County is continuing conversations to explore the possibility of a community wellness hub. A community wellness hub could be a place where residents could easily access social services and programs, as well as a location where service providers could work together in new ways to meet community needs.
