County surveying public about expanding mandatory face-coverings in all indoor locations and public vehicles-for-hire

Starting at the end of July, Strathcona County will begin construction at eight locations to support traffic and pedestrian safety improvements.

An online survey launched today to gather rural resident feedback on responsible livestock ownership. 

Major construction will start early August in the area of Sherwood Drive and Wye Road, in order to improve traffic flow, pedestrian access and safety, and overall road safety standards.

Trans Mountain and Strathcona County have signed a Community Benefit Agreement that will see a $225,000 investment towards a new skate park in the Hamlet of Ardrossan.

Today, Council approved three task force work plans that will guide Strathcona County’s short, medium and long-term COVID-19 recovery efforts. The workforce plans go into effect immediately and completion is targeted for March 31, 2021.

Strathcona County dog owners are being reminded to register or renew their dog licence or permit by July 31, 2020. All dogs residing in Strathcona County are required to have a valid dog licence.
