Open burning is not allowed. All fire and fireworks permits are suspended until further notice as conditions have made it dangerous for open burning. Only recreational fires in approved containers or appliances are allowed. Visit strathcona.ca/fireban or call 780-400-2010 for more information.
There are six Fire Stations located throughout Strathcona County, the newest being Fire Station #6 which opened in May 2013.
