The Active Pass is a monthly membership that was created to be flexible around your active lifestyle. It offers affordable access to Strathcona County's recreation centres, and includes activities for all ages and levels of physical ability. Two pass options are available - the Active Pass and Active Pass+.

Active Pass / Active Pass+
Active PassÂ
The Active Pass is a good option if you only require access to self-led drop-in activities within our facilities.
The Active Pass includes unlimited access to activities like:
- Gymnasium sports
- Wellness centre workouts
- Recreation swims
Active Pass+
The Active Pass+ provides unlimited access to all drop-in activities included in the drop-in recreation calendar.
The Active Pass+Â includes:
- All Active Pass activities
- Instructor-led drop-in classes
- Pre-booked activities
- Indoor court rentals
Pass pricing
Rates for the Active Pass and Active Pass+ are available for children, youth, young adults, seniors and families. Tots under 2 are provided free admission to our facilities.
New admission rates in effect April 1, 2024
New Recreation, Parks and Culture facility daily admission and membership rates were introduced on April 1, 2024. A fee increase was required due to rising costs of service delivery.
Did you know? The Recreation Access Program offers subsidized recreation for lower income families in Strathcona County.
Active Pass benefits
Get back into your gym routine, join a group fitness class or try your hand at new activities like skating, pickleball or squash. A membership provides unlimited monthly visits so you can continue your healthy habits, or create new ones!
Our drop-in recreation calendar has hundreds of activities each month, with activities starting as early as 5 a.m. and late into the evening until 11 p.m. Access to our facilities includes fully outfitted wellness centres with modern equipment, accessible opportunities like sledge hockey and low-impact activities like aquasize and cycling, and even child-specific indoor playground areas.
