Accounts of history
Strathcona County's history can be traced through the recollections and documented activities of past and present residents. Each person's story is an account, one perspective on what took place. Some stories are about a person or a family, and others have a community focus. Some are written and published in books or on a website or in a newsletter, others are simply told from one person to another. The stories are all interesting, and recording them in some way helps to see them passed on to the next generation.
