Weekend itineraries: hot drinks, art gallery, and local bistro
The beginning of Fall
Welcome to Fall!
This is the perfect time of year to curl up with a nice hot drink, which you could get from either Remedy or Common Ground Community Cafe, both found at Centre in the Park.
If you would prefer to enjoy the nice weather while it lasts, get that drink to go and take a stroll down the Prairie Walk which has been designed and landscaped to reflect Strathcona County’s history, culture, and natural environment.
A great activity to do on Saturday would be to check out Gallery@501. The latest exhibit, Mother Tongue/ Ehts’o Ket’a by Bruno Canadien is on until October 25. This Indigenous, Alberta born artist has had his work shown in multiple galleries and both private and public collections. As a reminder, face masks are required while in the gallery.
After a day spent at Center in the Park, the last thing to do is stop by Vicky’s Bistro. After 30 years of experience and unforgettable cuisine, this locally owned boutique restaurant and wine bar has fused Mediterranean and Western cuisine to be enjoyed in a modern dining experience. Support small businesses in Strathcona County by choosing to eat at a local business this weekend.
Enjoy the weekend in Strathcona County!
