Weekend itineraries: Happy Halloween
The spookiest time of the year
The scariest time of the year might look different due to the COVID-19 but Alberta Health Services put together some tips on how to enjoy yourself while still taking precautions. Click this link for tips on trick or treating, handing out candy, and Halloween parties. If you are interested in partaking in Halloween celebrations, please take into consideration that peoples’ comfort levels might be different to yours and be kind to one another.
A great way to start a new month would be by joining in on a morning yoga session. What makes this session even more exciting is that you will be joined by some adorable puppies! Second Chance Animal Rescue Society is supplying 13 puppies who will try their hardest to distract you attempt an hour-long yoga class. You are welcome to attend in costume and if you’re lucky some of the puppies might be in costume as well 😉. Tickets are limited and can be purchased on Eventbrite here.
Sushi 11 set up in Sherwood Park earlier this year, have you tried it out yet? Opening their doors this past June, this Japanese restaurant can be found in an excellent location at Baseline Village. Make plans to try it out and help the local economy by supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs this weekend. There has never been a more important time to shop local!
Enjoy the weekend in Strathcona County and Happy Halloween.
