The Art Society of Strathcona County is having their Spring Art Show & Sale online until May 1st. With over 160 pieces created by local artists, you’re sure to find something you like while supporting local artisans. The Loft Art and Gift Gallery in Sherwood Park is open on weekends, so plan to head over and support the art community. The gallery is updated approximately every eight weeks so you can always expect to see new artwork on display in the Gift Gallery. Don’t forget that Mother’s Day is coming up if you’re looking for an original gift idea… 😉

With the recent changes to restaurants, patios are more popular than ever! Average Joe’s has Sherwood Park’s only full-service outdoor bar meaning that it’s a great place to watch the hockey or baseball games this weekend. If you’re out of luck finding a spot, or you would prefer to eat at home, ordering take-out or pick-up is an option as well! This is a great weekend to support a locally owned restaurant in Sherwood Park.
