Weekend itineraries: we're into September
Fall is on its way
The temperature is warming up again, so spend this long weekend outdoors!
If you haven’t been to Riverside Nature Trail, what are you waiting for? This 5.5-kilometer trail goes alongside the North Saskatchewan River and is a great way to spend a morning or afternoon. We know that colder weather is coming (eventually), so get outdoors and enjoy the fantastic trails available in Strathcona County before it gets here. Feel free to bring your dog, but make sure they're on a leash.
One of the newest restaurants in Sherwood Park opened last month, have you stopped by yet? Top Donair opened its doors at Centre in the Park earlier in August, and they’re a great spot to stop by and support local. Their location in the heart of Sherwood Park means that they’re easily accessible for anyone in town. Stop by and support a new business this weekend.
If you haven’t heard of the market at Millennium Ridge Shopping Centre, you’re missing out. Niche Beauty has been involved in helping to support other local businesses all summer, and that’s continuing into the fall. Head over to their Facebook page to see the latest information, and stop by their location this weekend to help support another of our community’s local businesses.
