It’s hard to believe it, but this is the last itinerary post of 2021. If you haven’t decided how you’re spending the holiday season, keep reading for some suggestions. Spoiler alert, supporting local is a big theme 😉

Throughout the holiday season and as we head into the New Year, supporting local businesses is always a great thing to do. Local businesses are tied closely to our community and help support sports teams and the local arts and culture scene. After such a tough time over nearly two years, I chose to help support them. We have a handy-dandy business directory which makes finding local businesses easier. There are several ways to customize the directory to narrow down what you’re searching for. From new businesses opening this past year to sporting goods and even pharmacies, there are several layers to choose from to help you in your search. Try it out and see how easier it is to find a range of businesses in Strathcona County.

Our restaurant map is always popular and makes choosing where to eat so much easier. It’s a great resource when you can’t decide what restaurant you feel like supporting, and it’s constantly being updated, so make sure to check it regularly for new additions. We recommend printing off a copy and keep it on your fridge, but the online version is also excellent!
