Weekend itineraries: get outdoors

There’s a new activity to try out for FREE in Sherwood Park and Strathcona County. Bird watching kits are now available to be signed out from a few locations. These kits have everything you need to try out a new activity, and who knows, maybe it will turn into a new hobby! Kits can be signed out for a week at the Strathcona County Library and Bookmobile or for daily use from the Kinsmen Leisure Centre and the Strathcona Wilderness Centre.

This restaurant has a range of Chinese food options and Cantonese and Vietnamese dishes. Their sign is hard to miss as you’re driving along Wye Road, and their location in Sherwood Centre has plenty of parking available.
