Weekend itineraries: what are you up to this weekend?
This weekend in Sherwood Park and Strathcona County
It’s another Wholly Handmade weekend at the Community Centre Agora! This craft show comprises only handmade products and has more than 130 artisans participating – a perfect time to start shopping for Easter or Mother’s Day 😉. It runs both Saturday and Sunday, but you might want to go early to grab a parking spot. It’s one of the most popular markets in the area.
A new sub shop has opened its doors in Sherwood Park! Jon Smith Subs opened its doors earlier this month and is waiting for you to stop by and give them a try. They have an extensive menu of sandwiches, including giant deli subs and a few classic options. They also offer online ordering, so plan ahead and skip the waiting while they make it. Check out this new place this weekend while you’re out enjoying the warmer weather.
Fox and Willow is a locally owned boutique found in rural Strathcona County by Fort Saskatchewan and is a true labour of love. This shop is found in a converted horse barn; if you’re a fan of the rustic aesthetic, this place is the epitome of it! Here’s a tip: make sure to ask the owner, Angela, the story of where the name of the boutique comes from while you’re there. Enjoy spending some time in rural Strathcona County this weekend as you stop in to browse around.
