Weekend itineraries: summer is coming!
This weekend in Sherwood Park and Strathcona County
On Saturday, the Ardrossan parade and picnic celebrations start at 7:00 a.m. with a pancake breakfast, and activities last all day. The RCMP Musical Ride is also taking place, but the event is already full if you haven’t gotten tickets yet. You can still do a drop-in visit to see the horses and riders. If you did get tickets, remember there’s no on-site parking available.
70 Acre Brew Co. celebrated its second birthday this week! Sherwood Park’s first brewery celebrated yesterday, but if you missed the birthday party, you should stop by this weekend and wish them a happy birthday. Or congratulate them for winning a Canadian Brewing Award last week. It’s a great time to stop by and help celebrate a local business!
Don’t forget that Father’s Day is coming in a few weeks. If you haven’t started to think about what gift to get the dad in your life, head over to River City Games to check out their selection. This is a great place to stop by and find excellent gift options, from board games to card games, puzzles to billiards, or even game room furniture. Found in Aspen Plaza, they’re open all weekend to help you find the perfect game.
