Weekend itineraries: let's get musical!

There’s plenty of opportunities to enjoy live music this weekend in Sherwood Park. Ravenwood Music Experience is taking place at Broadmoor Lake Park on Friday and Saturday and tickets are still available! The Long Run – an Eagles tribute band are headlining Friday’s show, while Juno award winner Sass Jordan is taking the stage Saturday night. Don’t miss out on this great local event!

If you miss out on Ravenwood, the Festival Place Cultural Arts Foundation and Festival Place are putting on an outdoor chamber music performance. Taking place on Sunday just outside of Festival Place, you can enjoy a mixture of classical pieces and popular movie soundtracks. 

New restaurant alert! Phat Boy Cheesesteaks has opened up on Baseline Road and are slinging up cheese steaks with authentic recipes – plus a few menu items with creative twists. Choose your size of cheesesteak on how hungry you are! If you’re looking for something more than fries, check out the poutines they have available. From party dresses to stylish jewelry, they have everything you need to make a wardrobe statement this summer.
