Weekend itineraries: spend a spooky weekend
This weekend in Sherwood Park and Strathcona County

It’s that time of year again… Spooky Strathma is back! This year, the Strathcona County Museum and Archives have been taken over by a travelling carnival called the Sideshow Spectacular. Are you brave enough to pull back the curtain and go under the big top? The museum has extended hours on certain evenings this month, and there’s an all-ages party on October 21 and an adults-only party on the 28th. Don’t miss out on the spookiest soiree of the year. Check out their website for more information and to grab your tickets.
New restaurant alert! Rau Vietnamese Kitchen opened a few weeks ago, and they’re ready to cure your Vietnamese cravings. They have pho, vermicelli, and even offer a DIY platter to make your own salad rolls. Their menu can be found on their Instagram page, or stop by their location just off Broadmoor Boulevard this weekend.
Happy birthday to Keylime Athletic Wear! They’re celebrating their 15th birthday on Tuesday and having a party to celebrate. Stop by their location for door prizes, food and drinks, and enjoy the birthday sale that’s running from October 18 to 21. Having been open as a business in Sherwood Park since 2008 and in their retail location since 2016, you definitely want to stop by and celebrate this local female-owned business.
