Weekend itineraries: Family Day Weekend is here!

Matilda Jr. is at Festival Place all weekend; have you gotten your tickets yet? This much-beloved children’s tale adaptation is full of dance numbers and catchy songs that will have you dancing in your seat. It’s only running from tomorrow until Monday, so get your tickets while you can!

New restaurant alert! You might have noticed that there’s a new restaurant that opened up on Baseline Road in the last couple of weeks. Karahi Point offers authentic Pakistani cuisine with menu items from curries to samosa and (of course) chicken karahi! This is the first Karahi Point location to open outside of Ontario and Montreal, so stop by and check it out this weekend.

Mythic Comics & Collectibles is turning one! They’re having a celebration this weekend at their location on Sherwood Drive and will be having a sale to celebrate. They will also have prize giveaways and trivia games to play, and the gaming table will be open for drop-in gaming. Stop by and pick up some comics or collectables and join in on congratulating them on a year in business.
