Weekend itineraries: spooky season is arriving

Elementary, my dear Watson, all signs point to Spooky Strathma returning for another year! The Strathcona County Museum & Archives has been transformed into a mystery adventure full of clues to unravel and whodunits to solve. There’s an all-ages party on October 26th and an adults-only party on the 17th. Don’t miss out on the spookiest soiree of the year - check out their website for more information and to grab your tickets.

Lunch at the soup and sandwich co

The cooler temperatures arriving mean it’s time to shift into soup mode. During the week, make sure to stop by The Soup and Sandwich Co. and try out a freshly made soup and/or sandwich for lunch. They post daily specials online to see what they’re offering, making picking a day to go for lunch much easier. 😉

A vendor selling things at an artisan market

Head to the Ardrossan Rec Centre this weekend and check out the Sweet and Chic Travelling Market hosted by Queen of Hearts. It’s a one-day-only event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a range of vendors, from a flower bar cart to an in-house photographer. This pop-up will also have coffee, tea, and a food truck available, so check out their event page for a full list of vendors and plan on having a great day out in Strathcona County.
