On April 26-27 is the Independent Bookstore Day Extravaganza in the Edmonton capital region – multiple bookstores, multiple prizes! You can pick up your passport at The Sherwood Park Bookworm and Mythic Comics and Collectables on April 26 and collect stamps from them, and others in the region. Plan your adventure. 

This Easter weekend, surprise your loved ones with Jacek – quality chocolate proudly crafted in Sherwood Park. Milk chocolate bunnies, dark chocolate frogs, egg collections, Easter samplers (and more) round out their Easter collection this year – get them before they sell out! Since 2009, Jacek has been winning international awards and spreading joy to all!

NEW RESTAURANT ALERT! For over 80 years, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit has been serving authentic, slow-smoked Texas barbecue, and you can now find a franchise located in Sherwood Park. Are you really hungry? The 3-meat plate, with your choice of chicken, beef brisket, turkey or sausage may be just the ticket. For those with smaller appetites, there are 2 and 1 meat plate options, as well as sandwich combos, wings, and baked potatoes. But remember, save room for a slice of pecan pie.
