Weekend itineraries: the last weekend of April

A great wrap up to April this weekend

Weekend itineraries: the last weekend of April

There’s a new event happening in Sherwood Park this weekend – Chocofest! Billed as Western Canada’s only chocolate festival and Alberta’s Premier Chocolate Tasting Festival, this is the right place to be this weekend if you have a sweet tooth. Buy your tickets, entrance and chocotaste, online before stopping at Millennium Place on Friday or Saturday.
  Interior view of Game On

New restaurant alert! Game On opened its doors to the public yesterday, and they’re a great place to check out during the Oilers playoff run! Located in the old Average Joe’s space on Baseline, the space has been updated with a couple of changes. Don’t worry, the patio is the same, with space for plenty of games. Check them out this weekend and go Oilers go!
A bike getting a tune up

This weekend is a great time to take a bike ride on some of the many trails found in Sherwood Park and Strathcona County. If it's the first time you're taking your bike out this season, it might be a good idea to take it for a tune-up. Sabre Sport is a great option for those looking to support a local business and have bike repairs done by an experienced technician. Once your bike is tuned, check out the local trails and happy riding!

If you’re looking for other things to do this weekend, head to our tourism pages for more suggestions of ways to support local and find your adventure in Strathcona County.
