The application for this community partnership project was approved in the fall of 2014, and was brought forward by the Half Moon Lake community league.
To maximize use of the County’s limited resources, this community group has been working through the Community Partnership process to develop a park in the Municipal Reserve on the north side of the lake. The amenities that are requested will provide a playground, parking spaces for a few cars, shaded seating and picnic areas, a naturalized walking trail and interpretative signs.
The project is in the early phases of a concept design. The community group is busy fundraising, with construction timelines to be determined.
