Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in North America, and local participation within Strathcona County has surged! In the summer of 2014, Canada’s 55 Plus Games were held in Strathcona County, and Pickleball was one of the most popular events. Since then, local membership has increased to between 400-500 members. Pickleball is a great activity for adults, seniors and youth of all ages.

The Strathcona County Pickleball Association worked with Strathcona County on a Community Partnership Project to implement 8 new Pickleball courts at the Sherwood Heights Regional Park.

Construction is now complete.
