Would you like to work with a group of like minded folks who want to beautify the community? Do you have the time to plant and/or help maintain a flower bed in your neighbourhood? Do you like coordinating the efforts of groups of volunteers? Strathcona in Bloom is looking for people who want to volunteer to be on the Executive Board, design, plant and maintain a community flowerbed, and have fun doing it!

Municipalities across the country strive to make their community the best! They look at ways to manage and improve community tidiness, landscaped areas, turf areas, heritage conservation, urban forestry, floral arrangements, environmental effort and community involvement.

Over the past 20 years Strathcona County has competed and won provincial, national and international awards through communities in bloom program.
