Making a Law Enforcement Disclosure Request

If you are a law enforcement officer (RCMP, EPS, etc.) and need to request personal information from Strathcona County as part of an official investigation you will need to fill out the  Law Enforcement Disclosure Request form (44.0 KB) . 

This form must be filled out prior to any release of information. Completed forms can be provided to the department/facility where the requested information is located or to the FOIP office at FOIP@strathcona.ca. 

In order to avoid any delay in processing your request, please ensure that the form is filled out completely with the following information:

• Name of law enforcement agency (e.g. Strathcona RCMP)
• Name of individual the information is about, if known
• The type of record being requested:
  • If CCTV, please include date, location and approximate time when the incident occurred
  • If another type of record, please provide sufficient information to allow the record to be identified and located, including dates, times and location if applicable
• Name and section number of the applicable legislation the investigation is occurring under
• Officer’s name and title
• Officer’s signature
• File number
