12.1  ALD – Ardrossan Low Density Residential

Purpose

To provide for low density residential development within the boundaries of the Ardrossan East Area Structure Plan.

Subject to any fundamental use criteria for certain uses set out below, the permitted uses and the discretionary uses for this zone are listed in Table 12.1(A).

The development permit application for a single dwelling without a garage shall include the construction of a minimum 36 m2 hardsurfaced parking pad and driveway that is sited in accordance with the requirements for a detached garage in this zone.
