6.9  Equestrian centre

6.9(1)

On a lot where an equestrian centre can be considered, the maximum number of horses that could be considered shall be in accordance with the County’s Responsible Livestock Ownership Bylaw.

6.9(2)

Manure should be controlled in accordance with the County’s Responsible Livestock Ownership Bylaw.

6.9(3)

When an equestrian centre is proposed on a lot that abuts a lot(s) with RCL or RCH zoning, the equestrian centre shall:

  1. (a) maintain a 20 m setback from the abutting lot line to any development associated with the equestrian centre including overnight stay areas; and
  2. (b) screen along those areas abutting the lot line.
