6.18  Seasonal recreational resort

6.18(1)

A seasonal recreational resort must:

  1. (a) provide a potable water system that is designed to the satisfaction of the development authority and in conformance with provincial legislation, County bylaws and County standards;
  2. (b) provide a sewage disposal system that is designed to the satisfaction of the development authority and in conformance with provincial legislation, County bylaws and County standards;
  3. (c) provide electricity services to each resort site;
  4. (d) have each resort site accessible from an internal roadway;
  5. (e) be designed to:
    1. (i) provide a minimum of 10% of the total seasonal recreational resort site as space for active or passive recreational use;
    2. (ii) preserve existing environmental features;
    3. (iii) mitigate any adverse environmental impacts;
    4. (iv) provide a safe and clearly defined circulation pattern and to allow for access by vehicles used for emergency services; and
    5. (v) mitigate any potential nuisance impacts on adjacent land uses; and
    6. (vi) conform to any County area structure plan applicable for the site.
