Part 7 : Agricultural Zones
7.1 AD – Agriculture: Future Development
Purpose
To provide opportunity for agriculture and other uses that would not prejudice the ability to achieve future use or development of the land as contemplated within an adopted statutory plan.
Uses
Subject to any fundamental use criteria for certain uses set out below, the permitted uses and the discretionary uses for this zone are listed in Table 7.1(A).

Subdivision Regulations
Subdivision must comply with Table 7.1(B).

For an unsubdivided quarter section, one first lot out subdivision may be considered. The first lot out may consist of one of the following: (i) a lot with a minimum area of 0.8 ha and a maximum area of 2.0 ha for an existing dwelling. The maximum area may be increased if the existing accessory building, environmental features or shelterbelt configuration requires a larger size; or (ii) a split along a natural or man-made severance. |
