Start your application
- Select the position you want to apply for and click “Apply Now” at the bottom of the posting.
- Create an applicant profile using an email address that you access frequently.
- Complete the online application form. For certain postings, you may be required to answer job-related questions. This form is an effective way of getting your information and resume to the right people quickly within Strathcona County.
- Attach a resume and cover letter in Microsoft Word (.docx) or PDF format. Strathcona County is not responsible for applications submitted in an incompatible format.
Important notes:
- All postings close at 11:59 p.m. MT on the date listed.
- Recommend printing and/or saving the posting, as the posting is no longer available to view after the closing date.
- Applications sent by email will not be accepted.
- You can update your profile at any time so that your information is current.
Setup career alerts
Sign up to receive an email notification when the jobs you are interested in are posted on the website:
- Go to Careers | Strathcona County
- Navigate to "Applied before"
- Select "Check the status of your application"
- Select the menu on the top right by selecting the three bars
- Select "Sign up for career alerts"
- Enter your email address
- Select at least one “Preferred job category” and “Preferred job location” or select multiple
- Fill in contact information
- Select Agree to receive updates about new job opportunities
- Select Agree to receive recruiting events and campaigns
- Select subscribe
