Job Description

This posting is for multiple hourly positions at Millennium Place
 


We are seeking organized and efficient housekeepers who take pride in delivering exceptional customer service. You will play a vital role in maintaining our facility to the highest standards while ensuring that all guest expectations are met and exceeded.
 


Responsibilities:


  • Complete daily cleaning checklists, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning change rooms (floors, lockers, showers) as well as pressure washing
  • Dust and clean arena and field bleachers, glass, and windows
  • Vacuum floors, empty garbage receptacles, recycle waste, and handle stain removal
  • Stock change rooms, washrooms, and janitorial storage areas with necessary cleaning supplies
  • Respond promptly to housekeeping requests and inquiries
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to uphold cleanliness standards
  • Perform additional janitorial tasks as needed
  • Operate and maintain a range of cleaning equipment, including floor cleaners, vacuums, and I-Mops


 


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to providing outstanding service
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management capabilities
  • Ability to work well within a large team and engage with diverse groups


 


Conditions of Employment


  • Submission of a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check 
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing/walking for extended periods
  • Reliable personal transportation or a means to arrive at work punctually
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evening hours (Weekdays 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM and Weekends 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM, including holidays)
