Open house sessions provide an opportunity for Strathcona County residents, business owners and other ratepayers to make a presentation to the Priorities Committee on a variety of topics within the County’s jurisdiction. 

Upcoming open house sessions

Open house sessions will be held once per quarter at the following Priorities Committee meetings:

  • February 6, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.
  • April 16, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.
  • July 9, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.
  • October 8, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.

Presenting at an open house session

To make a presentation you must register before 4 p.m. the day before the Priorities Committee meeting by contacting the Legislative Officer at LegislativeOfficer@strathcona.ca or at 780-464-8014.  

If signing up to present, please note the following:

  • Presentations are limited to a maximum of five minutes.
  • Presenters may only address the same topic once in a given year.  
  • Names and topics of speakers for an open house are included in the meeting minutes and as part of the meeting webcast. 
  • Personal information is being collected under the authority of Section 33 (c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and will be used for purposes of managing and administering public hearings, public presentations and open house presentations.
