Healthy Aging Strathcona County Framework

The Healthy Aging Strathcona County (HASC) Framework provides a road map for County administration and for community organizations to support all aspects of healthy aging. This includes social connections, health, access to services, age-friendly spaces, community involvement, housing and financial security.

HASC Framework focus areas:

  • Robust community services and support
  • Age-friendly community living
  • Connection and well-being
  • Coordinated older adults’ network

2024 Older Adults Engagement

Strathcona County has engaged older adults to better understand their needs and priorities. The feedback gathered helps Strathcona County and its service delivery partners in decision making and has informed the development of the HASC Framework.
