A state-of-the-art multipurpose recreation facility featuring an aquatic centre, fitness centre, indoor fitness track, indoor playground, youth lounge, gymnasium, twin arena with leisure ice, and a field house/special event centre. The event centre includes 32,000 square feet of open space and can accommodate up to 1,280 in round table seating for a large catered function or up to 157 booths for trade shows.

Millennium Place also has several meeting rooms which can be rented out, making this a fantastic venue for tournaments.

Ardrossan Recreation Complex is located just 10 minutes east of Sherwood Park. It hosts curling bonspiels, hockey tournaments, recreational skating, baseball events and more. Plan your event in conjunction with another recreational activity or banquet. This facility is newly renovated and now offers a fitness centre, indoor fitness track, group fitness classes, recreational skating and preschool playground opportunities.

Located just 20 minutes east of Sherwood Park, Strathcona Wilderness Centre is a popular spot for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, wildlife watching, disk golf, nature interpretation and orienteering. Glen Allan Recreation Complex is located in the heart of Sherwood Park and features racquet courts, an arena, curling rink and fitness centre. An upper lounge overlooks the arena and curling ice.

Broadmoor Public Golf Course Arena and Clubhouse

Located in the heart of Sherwood Park and only 15 minutes east of Edmonton. The newly renovated Clubhouse, opened in the Spring of 2011. The Clubhouse now has the capacity to accommodate banquets of up to 180 people, plus seating for an additional 40 in the restaurant.

The Arena also underwent renovations and opened in Fall 2011. These renovations included modifying the refrigeration system, dressing rooms and rink boards. These renovations accommodate off-season dry surface use.

Festival Place is a versatile facility offering a theatre, patio, studios, salons and meeting for rent. Many highly successful and memorable events have been held at the facility including touring shows, weddings, banquets, business meetings, conferences, and trade shows.

Additional services and amenities for up to 500 guests include onsite catering, audiovisual services, licensed bar and concession, wheelchair accessibility, an ATM machine, free coat check service, free parking and a Box Office (including Ticketmaster)

The newest special event centre located in the Community Centre. This building features in-house food services, an art gallery and a state-of-the-art library. The wide open Agora lets in lots of natural light and makes a great setting for any event.

There are 14 community halls and four seniors' citizen centres located throughout Strathcona County. Many community halls are available for rent and offer excellent facilities, both indoor and outdoor, for a variety of functions.

This aquatic centre features a waterslide, 25-metre pool, dive tank and multi-depth children's pool. There is also an indoor preschool playground which is available to rent.

Located in the heart of Sherwood Park is the Sherwood Park Arena and Sports Centre. The arenas are used for many different purposes including hockey, ringette, figure skating, lacrosse, inline hockey and other special events. Meeting rooms are also available to rent making it a great tournament location.

This park includes slo-pitch  and baseball diamonds, picnic areas, and trails linking to Millennium Place. Centennial Park is located at 4000 Sherwood Drive. To book these diamonds call 780-920-7807. To contact the Mens or Mixed League please call 780-452-2877.

This sports hub features amenities for athletics including a high performance track, football, soccer and field hockey facilities. The park also includes a change facility and concession area, bleachers, lighting and a boarded rink.
