Did you know Strathcona County is part of the Beaver Hills Dark Sky Preserve? There are plenty of spots to cuddle up and stargaze or if you’re lucky, the northern lights dance across the skies. Enjoy some live music 

Ravenwood Music Experience started a monthly music club where you and your date can enjoy all kinds of different singers. This month is Ellie Heath, and she’s singing at Salisbury Greenhouse this Friday. If you miss out on it, there are a bunch of other spots around town where you can find more live music, like 70 Acres, Crooked Mouth Pub, Caffrey’s, and more. 

Join a cooking experience

L’OCA has a date night series in their L’OCA Labs, which takes you and your partner through how to create an impressive meal to recreate at home. Take a look at their website to find out more details and all the things you’ll learn and browse through the other classes they have lined up. 

Learn how to make something new 

Learn how to make your own bath bombs! This workshop, run by local soapery Oak and Aspen, will teach you how to make bath and body products. They have a GAL-entine’s Day-themed workshop this Sunday, but if you missed out on it, you could book a private workshop. Reach out to them to do so! 

Treat yourself to an overnight getaway 

Instead of only spending a couple of hours with your loved one, you can spend a night or two (or more!) at one of our local glamping options.
