February is Choose Kind Month in Strathcona County

Mayor Rod Frank has officially declared February Choose Kind Month. This February, County residents are encouraged to Choose Kind to help promote an inclusive, healthy and positive community through being kind to one another and themselves.

County invests over $1.1 million to support local social service needs

Council approved $1.17M to support non-profit organizations in meeting social service needs in Strathcona County. This funding, under the 2023 Social Framework Community Grants program, includes a $77,000 increase in funding for 2023.

Gallery@501 featuring unique collaboration with local artists

Strathcona County is pleased to present “Around You / Near You: Shaped in the Studio”, an exhibition featuring the artwork of 11 local artists from Sherwood Park and Edmonton. The exhibit opens at Gallery@501 on February 3 and shows until March 3, 2023.

Residential street snow clearing starts Sunday, January 8
