Face coverings required in indoor County facilities and transit, effective August 4, 2020.

As part of Strathcona County’s efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, non-medical masks (face coverings) will be required for people entering all County-owned buildings and transit, beginning August 4, 2020.

Today, Council approved three task force work plans that will guide Strathcona County’s short, medium and long-term COVID-19 recovery efforts. The workforce plans go into effect immediately and completion is targeted for March 31, 2021.

Reminder to renew dog licences and permits by July 31

Strathcona County dog owners are being reminded to register or renew their dog licence or permit by July 31, 2020. All dogs residing in Strathcona County are required to have a valid dog licence.
