Strathcona County is progressing in strategic energy management to reduce facility energy use, increase operational efficiency and adopt new technologies to help reduce our carbon footprint on the environment.

As Strathcona County indoor recreation centres get closer to re-opening their doors, new procedures will be in place following Alberta Health Services guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Broadview Enviroservice Station and Ardrossan Recycle Centre will be reopening with modified hours and days this week.

Beginning June 15, 2020, Strathcona County Enforcement Services will begin using eTicketing technology for traffic violations issued under the Provincial Offences Procedure Act.

Residents and the business community are invited to provide feedback on a proposed direction for tourism in Strathcona County. A draft tourism strategy has been developed and will be presented through a digital face-to-face.
